What is Nanotechnology?
A sheet of paper is about 100,000 nanometres thick. A strand of human DNA is 2.5 nanometres in diameter. There are 25,400,000 nanometres in one inch.
A human hair is approximately 80,000 – 100,000 nanometres wide. Based on this unit of measure, nanotechnology was born.
Different coating and sealing products have been developed that can penetrate deeper into surfaces such as Glass, Concrete, Timber, Fabrics and Plastic, creating a new layer of substrate that becomes extremely hydrophobic– “The Fear of Water”.
Hydrophobic surfaces repel water,
extending the lifespan of your surfaces.
NanoGuard Concrete
NanoGuard Concrete is the next generation of concrete protection. NanoGuard Concrete surface protection eliminates water absorption, moss, algae and efflorescence build up on mineral substrates. This product has deep penetrating properties without the use of any hazardous solvents or substances. NanoGuard Concrete is clear and odour free and is a superior sealer to any other conventional sealer on the market.
Water on surfaces protected by NanoGuard Concrete evaporates rather than penetrates. Therefore, protected surfaces dry up within minutes after exposure to rain, leaving no breeding ground for microbial growth.

NanoGuard FT
NanoGuard FT is a water-based hydrophobic treatment for fabric, textiles and timber. The product is suitable as a surface impregnation for internal and external fabric, textiles and timber.
NanoGuard FT dries transparent, so there is no visible change to the surface. It preserves the breathable ability of the substrate. The treated surface is guarded against contamination from dirt, dust and atmospheric pollution. Dirt can be removed easily by rain or by rinsing with clean water. On external surfaces, moss and algae formation is significantly reduced.

NanoGuard GC
Coated surfaces are significantly easy to clean, saving time and money. Unlike traditional glass coatings that cover the surface structure of the glass, the NanoGuard GC treatment follows the contours of the glass surface right down to the Nano-scale level, and prevents dirt and water adherence to these small structures.
